She is passionate about generating a greater balance of men and women in leadership. In these complex, turbulent and ambiguous times, women offer innate strengths and leadership qualities that can make a significant, positive impact on the organization. She works with organizations to help them reduce explicit and implicit barriers that hinder women in attaining leadership roles. She also helps women navigate invisible external and internal forces that hold them back, including their own self-doubt, which is addressed in her E-book, “Having Faith in Yourself: Five Principles to Radiate Confidence and Create the Career You Desire.”
Lisa attained her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from Tulane University in Organizational Psychology and her B.A. in Personnel Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She also earned a certificate in Brain Based Leadership and is a member of the Neuroleadership Institute, a cutting edge organization that’s using hard science to transform leadership and diversity efforts. Originally from New Orleans, she now lives in beautiful San Diego with her husband and two sweet, very active boys.
