Coffee with WomELLE is a casual conversation with the women behind WomELLE and the community around it.

It’s a place to come inside, get to know us, hear what’s happening, ask questions, share ideas, and talk about what women in our community actually need.

Some months we may share something new we’re working on and ask what you think. We may talk about upcoming events, opportunities, programs, partnerships, or resources. You might meet someone from the WomELLE team, one of our partners, or women from across the community.

And sometimes we may simply open the room with one question:

There is no presentation to sit through and nothing you need to prepare.

What You’ll Get From the Room

You’ll get a closer look at WomELLE and the opportunity to be part of the conversation rather than only seeing what we post online.

You can ask questions, learn about things you may not know WomELLE offers, hear what other women are looking for, meet people in the community, and tell us what would actually be useful to you.

You may also hear about something happening at WomELLE that you want to participate in, an opportunity that fits what you're looking for, or meet someone you’d like to stay connected with after the conversation.

Most importantly, this is a two-way conversation.

We want to hear from you too.

Who Should Attend?

Coffee with WomELLE is for women who want to get to know WomELLE and the women around it.

You might already be part of the community. You might be a member. You may have attended one of our events before. Or you may have been following WomELLE for months and still aren't quite sure where you fit.

Come anyway.

You don’t need to own a business, hold a particular title, or already know someone in the room.

Why Should You Attend?

Because sometimes the easiest way to understand a community is simply to sit down with the people in it.

Coffee with WomELLE gives you that opportunity.

Instead of trying to understand everything from a website, newsletter, or social media post, you can come into the room, meet us, ask what you want to know, and see what conversations are happening within the community.

And WomELLE gets something important from the conversation too.

We get to listen.

What women tell us they need, what they're looking for, what they wish existed, and what they're experiencing can help us understand how to better serve the community we're building.

What to Expect

90 minutes. Coffee. Conversation. No presentation.

There may be updates from WomELLE, something new for us to share, a question we want to ask the community, or someone we'd like you to meet.

But every Coffee doesn't have to look exactly the same.

The point is to create an open table where WomELLE and women in the community can talk to one another.
